As part of its collaboration with the EU-Africa Business Forum (EABF) Facility, GET.invest will support virtual trainings for Business Support Organisations, mostly Business Chambers from French-speaking countries. The trainings given by the GET.invest Finance catalyst advisors Samuel Martin and Maurice Pigaht will provide business support organisations with an understanding of the requirements of doing business in energy sectors of Sub-Saharan African countries and of project finance in this context.
MARGE has been working for the GET.invest Finance Catalyst for several years now.
The Finance Catalyst is a service from GET.invest, a leading European programme that mobilises investment in clean energy, closing the gap between finance demand and supply. Since 2016, the programme has supported over 600 projects and companies on their journey to financial close – driving energy market development and unlocking partnerships and investment. Through tailored advisory services, GET.invest empowers project and business developers, while its collaborative approach creates opportunities for financiers and partners to engage in impactful, bankable ventures. GET.invest currently operates across sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. The programme is co-funded by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria; implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH); and hosted on the multi-donor platform GET.pro.
