Who we are

We are an employee-owned consulting firm that promotes sustainable development through access to energy in developing countries. We provide impact-focused services for the development, implementation and evaluation of energy programs and projects by public and private actors.

Some key figures

History

1995

MARGE is founded in the South West of France by experienced consultants in the fields of environment and energy.

2001

A Dutch partner joins the company. Creation of MARGE Netherlands.

2013

Significant expansion of the project team with new experts from various parts of Europe and Africa. Head office moves to Toulouse (France).

2018

Ongoing internationalisation of the team. Closure of MARGE Netherlands.

2022

The team comprises 8 full-time experts, 6 of which are shareholders. The majority of activities focus on the energy access sector in developing countries.
