MARGE has been supporting Triple Jump in their management of the CEI Africa fund by advising the fund’s Smart Outcomes Fund (SOF) Committee. Triple Jump is an independent investment manager focused on impact investing in emerging markets. It targets financial sector development and invests in institutions that service the bottom of the pyramid.
CEI Africa’s SOF committee manages two funds:
- The SOF fund for productive use of renewable energy, providing subsidies to equipment and appliances that generate income in minigrid-connected areas
- The RBF fund for renewable energy minigrids.
MARGE provides advisory services, including advising Triple Jump and the SOF Window Committee, providing guidance on the required SOF Window grant processes and criteria in accordance with the SOF Window policies and operating manuals.
