The SEFFA project (Sustainable energy for smallholder farmers), co-funded by the IKEA Foundation and implemented under the global programme Energising Development (EnDev) by GIZ, SNV and RVO, aimed to support scalable, innovative business cases using renewable energy services and technologies for irrigation, cooling and drying, as well as a renewable energy hub, to improve production and livelihoods in the dairy and horticultural value chains across Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. SEFFA’s project activities ended in 2024 and SNV engaged MARGE expertise to capture lessons learned on this project by developing 12 knowledge products documents to share project learning with a wider audience. The knowledge products include individual case studies and documentation on a cross-country perspective, i.e. capturing lessons from all three SEFFA project countries and both project implementers, GIZ and SNV. MARGE assisted SNV in producing and designing the 12 Global Knowledge Products that are now available on SNV website: https://www.snv.org/project/sustainable-energy-smallholder-farmers-ethiopia-kenya-and-uganda
