It all began in the French ‘Lot’ region in 1995. Two couples, who were friends, decided to leave their lives in Paris to settle in this region they had fallen in love with. They founded a consulting firm specialising in environmental issues in developing countries. MARGE was born!
Since then, the firm has evolved. Its head office is now located in Blagnac, on the outskirts of Toulouse, and its areas of expertise focus on energy access in developing countries. The team has also been renewed.
What better way to celebrate these 30 years than to bring together the team of pioneers and the new generation in the place where it all began? That's what we did last week for two days of reunions (introduction for some!) and emotional exchanges. On the agenda: a tour of MARGE's first offices, sharing memories and anecdotes between old and new colleagues, feedback, gastronomy, exploring the region and sharing good times together... It was a wonderful anniversary that we will all remember. We've already set the date for MARGE's 40th anniversary in 10 years' time!
