In consortium with CPCS (lead), MARGE is participating in a renewable energy jobs assessment in the Central African Republic for the World Bank. Beginning in August 2022, this project aims to capture the impact of direct, indirect, and (to the extent possible) induced jobs, and associated net employment estimates for the grid-connected, off-grid, and mini-grid market in CAR by 2030. MARGE is specifically responsible for Task 2 of the study, which is an in-depth sectoral analysis of the agriculture, education, and health sectors and other sectors or sub-sectors that offer the most significant employment opportunities from renewable energy investments. The study is scheduled to continue until March 2023.
