MARGE is supporting Mercy Corps in developing Humanitarian Energy, the commercial arm of its Enter Energy Initiative. Enter Energy is a programmatic initiative whose vision is to power displaced and host communities in their journey to resilience through clean, affordable and sustainable energy solutions and decarbonize the humanitarian operations that support them. The idea is to design and implement a scaling and fund-raising strategy for Humanitarian Energy. MARGE provides one key expert to the Mercy Corps’ team who is in charge of consolidating and scaling up Humanitarian Energy Plc in Ethiopia while leading in up to five additional countries which are Jordan, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda and Somalia.
