MARGE is mandated by Stantec to support the EU Delegation (EUD) in Mozambique in the planning of a possible intervention to promote access to clean, affordable and sustainable off-grid renewable energy electricity services in Mozambique, through competitive tendering for isolated grids. More specifically, this mission aims to provide the EUD, for the isolated grid sector, with a stocktaking of initiatives of the government and other partners, an analysis of the policy and regulatory framework and recommendations for a possible intervention on competitive tenders.
