MARGE continues its work on the DESFERS project "Economic and Social Development of Women through Renewable Energies in the Sahel" in Senegal, Mali and Niger, on behalf of Plan International. After defining the needs of the populations, identifying the intervention sites with the greatest potential for social and economic impact and proposing technical and organisational solutions for access to solar energy that meet the needs of the IGAs led by women, calls for tenders were made with the support of the project and the electrification agencies. MARGE will now provide technical support to Plan to monitor the installation and commissioning of 29 Green Mini Grids and 25 Multi-Functional Platforms. These works will support the development of 1000 IGAs run by women.
